Getting Started

1. Sign In

Sign in with your Apple ID to sync alarms across your devices and share with others. Go to Settings > Account and tap Sign in with Apple.

2. Create a Group

Groups let you set alarms for multiple people. Go to the Groups tab and tap + to create your first group. Invite family members, teammates, or roommates to join.

3. Set an Alarm

Tap + on the Alarms tab to create an alarm. Assign it to a group, and it will ring on everyone’s devices in that group.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I invite someone to my group?

Open your group, tap the share button, and send the invite link. The recipient needs FamilyAlarm installed to accept.

Why didn’t my alarm ring on someone else’s device?

Check that:

  • They have joined your group
  • They have notifications enabled for FamilyAlarm
  • Their device is registered in Settings > My Devices
  • The alarm is assigned to the correct group

How do I remove someone from a group?

Open the group, swipe left on the member’s name, and tap Remove. Only group owners can remove members.

Is my data private?

Yes. All your alarm data is stored in your iCloud account. We only store anonymous device tokens needed for notifications. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What’s included in Premium?

Free users get 1 alarm and 1 group. Premium unlocks:

  • Unlimited alarms
  • Unlimited groups
  • AI alarm creation
  • Calendar integration

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel.

How do I restore my purchases?

Go to Settings > Subscription > Restore Purchases in the app.


Troubleshooting

Alarms not syncing

  1. Ensure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID on all devices
  2. Check that iCloud is enabled for FamilyAlarm
  3. Try force-quitting and reopening the app

Notifications not working

  1. Go to iPhone Settings > Notifications > FamilyAlarm
  2. Ensure “Allow Notifications” is enabled
  3. Enable Sounds, Badges, and Banners
  4. Check that Focus/Do Not Disturb allows FamilyAlarm

AI features not available

AI alarm creation requires Apple Intelligence, which is available on iPhone 15 Pro and later with iOS 18.1+.
